Hi Savantslav, If your laptop under warranty, take it to acer center
-
Hi emzyray, Theoretically you can do it. Before upgrade you need to check what Power Supply you have ? need at least 700W if you will OC the card. Check the width of your case and width of rtx3060 that you want + it can be more heavier and maybe you will need so support sticks on the case, for not brake the pci slot, it…

Hi Scotch2021, I don't sure but lest check it on acer's support. try to go here https://www.acer.com/ac/en/ID/content/support-product/5416;-; chose Product Details and search for your model by serial number, I think there will be show if it support dual Chanel.

Hi MUTHUKUMAR,if it not flickering on bios, I think it's driver issue, try to update GPU driver.

Hi uncutappleslices, You must immediately backup all your sensitive data, bad sectors will get worst. I can happen to HDD, without any physical damages... I suggest to move one SSD, Personally I don't recommend NVMe for it high temperature. NVMe should be faster, but I change my for SSD and I don't see any different on…

Hi MADHU, If your laptop under warranty, I suggest you to send it to acer for replace that mess, and on the way repaste thermal paste (you must repaste thermal paste on cpu + gpu if you remove heat sink)
-
Hi HABIBrellores, It's only temperature bother you or there is some problem in performance on your predator ?
-
Hi Berk1007, try to troubleshoot if it not work, you should to contact the service whom replaced your motherboard
-
Hi SpookyMidget, try to scan it via "Malwarebytes"
-
* can you show the temperature of the cpu and gpu during idle and during games? in most cases it's hard drive problem, so I suggest to check it, it's more then 3 years old... * try to check your hdd for error -- defragment drive -- you can try HDDscan https://hddscan.com/index.html * Did you install all drivers from acer…

agree whit you, but Baxic ask hot get rid of static electricity, so it's the sort full path... and you don't need to remove battery, only disconnect it
-
Hi Muneerthepioneer, high temp can damage, but usually there is protect for that, if your cpu overheated, laptop will shut down to prevent damage if it only slow, usually it ssd or hdd hardware (what you have exactly?), or some software, unwanted program that use all your resources give us your laptop specs, how old is it,…

Hi Baxic, Shutdown your laptop, remove power cable, remove back cover, disconnect battery and press couple of times on power button. That's it you can start upgrade. p.s. in some case it can restore your bios to default setting.
-
Hi Sausage, the short answer is YES, you can do it. but you need to check the CL - Cas Latency, for best performances it's must be equal to other ram stick.
-
this is my guess for but try to play with the settings, I think you already did it all, but lest check it. make battery to Best performance then check the task manager, you should to get boosted cpu speed also : now close the lid and check if cpu speed changed ? (there shouldn't be any changes, but still I wonder what the…

lol, now I see it, it was late at night, something I missed... but still acer manufacture limit it for 32 gb, maybe it will work but it can be unstable so at your own risk. I saw you at other forum, so then you get an answer that it tested on some models, but I didn't saw any profs of that, so it still on your own risk.…

well I think JackE have the best answer Go to acer and ask for replacement the unit, or wait for that hardware piece to arrive, till then use it for work. Шf the Acer Service cant fix it, this is not your problem, but theirs, if necessary, insist for replacement.
-
same CPU can't get more than 32gb, you need other CPU. it's depend on your country, each country has specific models, It's hard to tell. but it cheaper to get 32gb and then buy another 32gb, better than by default 64gb.

you can try to enter the bios, restart your laptop and hit "F2", see if there same issue. but if you try all of suggested here, then I think the best way is to connect acer support and get a replacement
