will my laptop support 3200 mhz ram - Predator Helios 300 PH315-53

I have a Predator Helios 300 PH315-53 and i want to upgrade my ram i was just wondering will 3200 work. I know it will downclock if its to high but will it still be ok to put 3200 inside?

    Hi Sausage,

    the short answer is YES,  you can do it.

    but you need to check the CL - Cas Latency, for best performances it's must be equal to other ram stick.

    Thank you. I checked with CPU-Z and it saying my ram is cl21 and the Ballistix i been looking at say there cl16. That should be ok right?

    @Sausage my advice if u want to get the best performance forget the stock ram and get a ready dual channel set either hyperx or vengeance and no do not mix ram with different CL it has to be the exact size/clock/CL to work in dual channel without issues good luck :)

    Yeah was gonna get a new dual set. I was looking at vengeance before the ballistiks but then started to think maybe I should get the vengeance. Thanks for the advise. I found it harder to find out info on a laptop board in comparison to a pc. Pc you just search the board and find the info you need but laptop I really couldn’t find much lol. Thanks for the advise
