How to get rid off static electricity - nitro 5 AN515-43

Hey guys i would like to upgrade ram in my nitro 5 (AN515-43, ryzen 5 + radeon rx560x) and im scarred of static eletricity. How to get rid off it? Shoud I buy anti static wrist strap? And if yes where should i clip it, and if there will be static electricity what should I do?
(if I made some mistakes in grammar im sorry im from czech republic)

    and you don't need to remove battery, only disconnect it

    Hi Baxic

    Shutdown your laptop, remove power cable, remove back cover, disconnect battery and press couple of times on power button. That's it you can start upgrade.
    p.s. in some case it can restore your bios to default setting.

    Do not touch anything cloth, RAM is already bundled in anti-static covers. When you hold it hold it on the sides than by edges.

    That's an overkill, and not possible with newer laptops where battery is attached to the motherboard.
