AZ3-715 and AU5-710 systems may may have no display on startup

Why does my system have no video when I power it on?

The LCD firmware on AZ3-715 and AU5-710 models may cause the system to power on without showing a display. Acer has released a BIOS update to resolve this issue.

If your system is able to power on and boot to Windows, you can install the latest BIOS via the Acer Care Center. Use the instructions below to install the latest BIOS.

Click the Start menu, select All Apps.
Choose Acer and select the Acer Care Center App.
Click the Update tile.
Click the Update button next for the BIOS and follow the onscreen instructions.

If you do not see the update in Acer Care Center, you can download and install the latest BIOS from our Acer Drivers and Manuals page to resolve this issue.
