Why does the memory of my Predator Helios 18 still indicates 128 GB when I have upgraded the memory?
If you have upgraded the memory of your Predator Helios 18 and it still indicates a memory of 128 GB, your computer is running on Windows 11 Home Edition as Windows 11 Home edition is limited to 128 GB of RAM.
When you require more memory, you can upgrade the memory of your Predator Helios 18 to fit your needs as the memory capabilities of the hardware itself is not limited to 128 GB. However, you will also need to upgrade your Windows version to Windows 11 Pro or a higher edition to be able to tap into the extra memory you added to your Predator Helios 18.
To determine the right Windows 11 version for your needs, refer to Memory Limits of Windows 11 Editions. For instructions on how to upgrade your Windows 11 version, refer to the instructions below.
