NitroSense error message may prevent installation of the operating system

This article only applies to: Acer Nitro models.

SYMPTOMS

Your computer may display the message "Sorry! This computer is not supported" during the installation of the operating system. This can occur if the system model name is incomplete. You can view the system model name in the Acer Care Center application, or in the CMOS setup. The model name must include the word "Nitro" as shown in the image below. If the model name does not include the word Nitro, it will need to be updated at an Acer service center.

SOLUTION

Please contact our Customer Service for additional support creating a repair order to update the model name.
