Aspire E5-553G may report R7 series video chip after updating video driver

This article only applies to: Aspire E5-553G

The AMD Radeon Settings applications may prompt you with an update to install a new VGA driver. The driver installed via this update is not an Acer driver, and may cause the system to report an R7 series video chip instead of an R8 series chip. We recommend installing VGA driver version 22.19.163.1792 (or later) from the Acer Drivers and Manuals page. This will allow the system to properly report the video card again.

Visit the Drivers and Manuals section of the Acer support website.
Enter your Serial Number/SNID or search for your product by Model.
Select Driver
Click the Download link for the file you want to download.
