About this time I'd be trying the SSD in a different computer. It is possible there is a hardware problem (cable, socket, etc). Did you check that the cable connectors are tight ?

    >>>disabled it from BIOS>>>

I'm not sure that qualifies with these strange-acting UEFIs. Jack E/NJ
If anything else to be tried except removing HDD pls tell that also  Its extremely difficult to keep opening the laptop  Will try out all in one go

Go to BIOS settings, press F9 button to setup defaults, then press F10 to save and exit, make sure the SSD is seated properly.

I justed buy Acer sf315-41 too.
Same to you i had plan to upgrade NVMe with Samsung 960evo.
After I had searched and seen your case. I am not sure that I can upgrade with NVMe.
So. I call to Acer Thailand for help about NVMe support.
Acer Thailand tell me that Acer sf315-41 support NVMe but not confirm to me that I can use any NVMe.

Now I still not buy NVMe because I am not sure about that.
but I think that it may be about bios
    1. F2 to bios
    2.enter to set supervisor password
3.after you set supervisor password you can change secure boot to "disable"
4.after that you will can change boot mode from "UEFI" to "Legacy"

and check that your Acer can seen NVMe ?
    please tell me the results

After I finish my work . I will back to check Bios version too.
In general , You can not downgrade bios version.
    Anyways,
Had you already change boot mode from "UEFI" to "Legacy" ?

Due to bricking potential, I recommend against trying to downgrade the BIOS. But it can be done if you're adventuresome and can return the machine to the vendor for a refund or replacement if unsuccessful. Jack E/NJ

I am adventurous to do anything at the moment . Cant work with this slow laptop . have been using SSD from long now and would like the same speed and response
