Well, looks like it loaded the grub.efi file on the emmc. Which is OK as long as it also loaded the Linux EXT4 system on the SSD. The only way to see that is with GPartEd or a FileManager or terminal prompt on either the Linux installation boot stick if it's available, or you have to make a bootable GPartEd stick. Google gparted live usb for instructions on how to make one.

OK. Now click on the dropdown in the upper right corner to look for sda and sdc devices.

Sda and sdc are the drivers on my other linux system.

What?? SDA and SDC are not drivers. They are storage devices.

Storage device C (SDC) is probably the Linux installation stick on the other machine. Storage devicc A (SDA) is probably the boot drive on the other machine.

Please post a phone photo of each GPartEd dropdown on only THIS ES1-533 machine, NOT the other machine.

    a) to use UEFI the disk boot64x.efi file must be in the BIOS directory.
    b) if you clone a drive it also clones the boot64x.efi file  and has the same signature as the original disk.
    c) my BIOSes do not recognise two disks with the same signature. May refuse to boot either.
    d) I use RUFUS to create a UEFI/GPT drive with a different signature for a second disk if want it to boot.

Please post a phone photo of each GPartEd dropdown on only THIS ES1-533 machine, NOT the other machine. It looks like the BIOS is locked to the original EFI partition. It might be modifiable but may require re-installing Win10, which on an emmc chip with limited space can be questionable.

That's why it's important to see the GPartEd dropdown screen because it might be as simple as relabelling the M: and N: ESP partitions to get the BIOS to look at the other EFI partition.

Sorry predictive text. that should have been drives.

I cant get a gpatred live usb drive to work it's just being ignored.

Is there any other way that you would recommend.

    Thanks

To boot from a live GPartEd USB drive, you must start tapping the F12 on startup or it'll be ignored.

The Linux system installed as expected and looks correct. The issue seems to be the  blk0p1 partition on the emmc. The BIOS seems locked into it. We might be able to force the BIOS to look at  sda1 partition on the SSD. So boot back into Windows elevated command prompt.

    (1) Enter 'diskpart'
    (2) Enter 'list volume'

OK, at the diskpart prompt, enter
    (1) select volume 0
    (2)'assign letter M
    (3) select volume 2
    (4) assign letter N
    (5) list volume'(to make sure M and N are assigned
    (6) exit

Then at the command prompt enter
    (1) N:
    (2) label
    (3) At the label prompt enter 'oldesp'
    (4) M:
    (5) label
    (6) At the lable prompt enter 'esp'

Go back to diskpart and enter
    (1) list volume (to make sure it looks something like the following image)

Did you add the new partition's bootx64.efi file to the BIOS directory ?

As I recall, this option is not visible in the Security tab even with Ctrl+S. It is at least part of the problem with this laptop. The other issue is that rebooting apparently auto deleted the drive letter assignments. About all I can suggest at this point is a BIOS firmware update to see if the BIOS chip can be re-directed to look at the grub efi. Because it now appears to be locked onto Windows boot efi on the emmc chip.

Ok. Is that reinstalling the Bios again or something more drastic.

    Thanks

Have you got the latest BIOS version installed?
