I wonder whether Helios 300 2019 is their single model in whole lineup over past few years which can’t stop the fans? And not only this, which has such inadequate fan curve on gpu where it can’t be lower than 2160 (2460 in real idle)
2460 is incredible high just for idle, why we have so really
should we unlock bios to solve it?1 -

I would like to reduce the fan noise a little. the laptop mostly runs at around 33 degrees. So the laptop is pretty cool i don't need the fans running so aggressively when its barely doing anything. Its annoying when watching videos how loud it is. With the fans running as aggressively as it is, it is just going to cause wear and tear.

Could moderator contact acer for this please?1

This is the key to the solution
To make everything more complex they placed it partially blocked by heatsink so in order to access it it’s required to remove whole cooling system
Well it won’t stop me anyway)1 -

now the summer is finished and my room is cold
i notices after the pc start the temp are 24C and the fan are 00 rpm
when temp reach 27 C the fan start. until the temp reach 27 C i can off/on fans
the fan can be off just between 24-27C.
to increase from 24 to 27C it take arround 2 mins1 -
Still waiting for a BIOS update to fix this. Anybody at Acer actually cares about their Predator community ???

Could you send message at predatorgaming twitter via message icon?
two requests will be better than 1 request

They need not 1 or 2 requests but thousands
Maybe to use bots and spam them1 -
I have some news
So, I have unlocked the bios and played with various settings in the Thermal Configuration menus
but nothing impacts on fans
Most probably that fan curve is set in separate Embedded Controller chip not in Bios itself so I can't change it via Bios setup utility
Also this post is interesting

they haven't even described fan curve in service manual!1 -
they did it on purpose to wear out the fans faster and make us change the PC
