Guidance for Upgrading the ME Firmware - Acer Community
<main> <article class="userContent"> <h3></h3> <h2 data-id="step-1-check-if-your-system-is-amt-provisioned-or-not">Step 1: Check if your system is AMT provisioned or not.</h2> <ul>If your system is not AMT provisioned, go to Step2 and upgrade the ME firmware directly.<br>If your system was AMT provisioned, follow below instructions to unprovision the system before upgrading the ME firmware:<br>1-A. Unzip INTEL-SA-00075_UnprovisioningTool_1.0.0.0025.zip to C: and then enter the folder. Run "msiexec.exe/i unprovisionToolInstaller.msi /qn" in Administrator mode.<br><br>1-B. After unprovision complete, reboot your system.<br>1-C. Run "msiexec.exe/x unprovisionToolInstaller.msi /qn" in Administrator mode to uninstall the tool.<br><br></ul><h2 data-id="step2-upgrade-me-firmware">Step2. Upgrade ME Firmware</h2> <ul><br>2-A.
