Assembly of the Predator XB271 Monitor stand

How do I put together the Predator XB271 monitor stand?

The Predator XB271 monitor stand rotates and locks into place with a thumb screw. Once the stand is assembled properly, the monitor will rotate on the base. Use the instructions and pictures below to see the proper alignment of the stand for assembly. The neck and base should be assembled before attaching the monitor.

Insert the monitor neck into the base as shown below. The center line on the neck should be about 45 degrees to the right from the center line on the base.
Hold the base and rotate the neck to the left 90 degrees so the center line on the neck is to the left side of the center line on the base.
Turn the neck and base over and tighten the thumbscrew on the bottom to secure the neck to the base.
Place the stand upright and hold the base and rotate the neck to the right until the center lines line up.
