How to Forget or Reset a Wi-Fi Connection on Chromebook

If you are having trouble connecting your Chromebook to a network that you've connected to in the past, you may want to forget or reset the Wi-Fi connection. When you forget and re-add a network your network settings will be reset which will allow to reestablish the connection with the network that is giving you trouble.

To Forget or Reset a Wi-Fi Connection:

Select the time in the bottom-right corner of the screen
Select the gear ⚙️ icon to launch the Settings application
On the left side of the Settings window, select Network
On the right side, select Wi-Fi
Select Known networks
Under Known networks, you'll see a list of networks that your Chromebook has been connected to
Locate the network you are wanting to forget and select the three dots to the right of it
Select Forget

Since the network has been forgotten, the next time you want to connect to the network, you'll need to enter the network password.
