How can I update the software of my Acer ebii e-bike?
Updating the software of your Acer ebii e-bike whenever there is an update available is important as it can improve the performance of the Acer ebii e-bike and may solve software issues. You can only update the software of your Acer ebii e-bike using the ebiiGO app. To update the software on your Acer ebii e-bike, refer to the instructions below.
Note: When updating your Acer ebii e-bike, the e-bike cannot be used.
How to update the Acer ebii e-bike using the ebiiGO app
- Make sure that the ebiiGO app is installed in your mobile device and that the setup has been completed. For instructions on how to download and install the ebiiGO app, refer to How to Set Up the Acer ebiiGO App on Your Smart Device.
- Tap on the ebiiGO app in the list of apps on your mobile device to open the app. If necessary, log in with your Acer ID account. For instructions, refer to How to Log In and Out of the Acer ebiiGO App.
- In the ebiiGO app dashboard, tap on the ebii circle icon. This will take you to the ebii control menu.
- If there is software update available for your Acer ebii e-bike, you will see an update notification at the top of the ebii control menu where the Light and Security menu buttons are usually located.
Tap on the Update notification to update the software of your Acer ebii e-bike. DO NOT close the ebiiGO app during the upgrade process.
Note: The download time of the update may vary, depending on the speed of your mobile phone network. - When the update notification disappears and the Light and Security menu buttons reappear, the update process is completed. You can now use your Acer ebii e-bike again.
