What is AcerSense?
AcerSense is a software application designed to provide you with important system information, hardware diagnostic tools, software updates and much more in one dashboard – all at the push of a button.
This powerful application comes preinstalled on many newer Acer computers and can be downloaded for other models from the Acer Support site. The AcerSense experience can vary depending on the model of your computer. Some AcerSense features are included or excluded based on the hardware capabilities of your computer.
Note: AcerSense is not supported on all models. If the software is not listed for your model on the Acer Support site, it is not supported.
How do I use AcerSense?
- Launch the AcerSense software by clicking on the AcerSense icon on your desktop, or pressing the AcerSense key on your keyboard. You can also launch the software by clicking on Start > All Apps > AcerSense.
- View system information, perform hardware diagnostics, check for software updates or change any settings in the software as desired.
- Then close the software to save any changes you made.
How do I download and install AcerSense?
Note: It is recommended to update to the latest BIOS and ensure all Windows updates are installed on your computer prior to installing AcerSense.
- Visit the Acer Support website at https://support.acer.com.
- Choose your model by entering your Serial number, SNID or model number.
- Click on Application.
- Click on the download link for the AcerSense software.
- Extract the Zip file.
- Double-click on the Setup.exe file to install AcerSense.
