Acer X27 Firmware Update Allows Users to Select sRGB Gamma or YUV Gamma When Using YUV Color Format

Why is my display darker when I use YUV color format at 144hz?

SDR games in the YUV color format at 144 Hz appear darker than those in the sRGB color format. This is a result of the difference between the gamma standards for sRGB and YUV.
We are adding an enhancement to our firmware that gives users the option of selecting either the sRGB gamma or the YUV gamma when using YUV color format.
If you purchased a monitor with the serial numbers listed below and would like this firmware update, you can have ACER update your monitor firmware now.

Below is a list of ACER serial numbers for eligible monitors:
In the serial number, if the eleventh & thirteenth digits are 820 or 821, their firmware can be refreshed.
