Driver Display Error after Sleep or Prolonged Idle Periods May Cause Vertical White Lines on Display - Acer Community

After allowing the system to sleep, white lines and other abnormalities may appear. Acer is working with Microsoft and Intel to resolve this issue. For now, Acer recommends performing a roll back on the driver.</p> <p>Note: Starting with Windows 10 Anniversary update, once a driver is rolled back, Windows will not push this driver again until an update has been made.</p> <p>Use the following steps to rollback the Intel HD display driver:</p> <ol><li>Type <b>Device Manager</b> in the Windows Search Box, and select <b>Device Manager</b> from the list of search results.</li> <li>Locate and Right Click on the <b>Intel HD 520 driver</b> under Display.</li> <li>Select <b>Properties</b>.</li> <li>Select the <b>Driver tab</b>.</li> <li>Select <b>Roll Back Driver</b>.</li> </ol><p>If you are still experiencing a problem, please <a rel="nofollow" href="http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support">contact Acer support</a> for further assistance..</p> <meta content="Predator"></meta> </article> </main>
