What graphics card do you have? The base specs on the monitor should be 1920x1080 at 60, 120 or 144Hz on the DP connection. Have you tried an HDMI or DVI connection?

Boy that is an oldie… You have to have a working driver for the internal serial ports before the touchpad driver can even recognize the touchpad. Are you still running Windows 8.1 or have you upgraded to Windows 10? I believe the drivers you need are called the Platform Drivers with your model.
