@majoman Follow the 1st and 2nd steps in the Acer Splash Downloader section. Enter the download mode and connect the projector to the computer using USB cable. Open the One Click firmware file that you have downloaded.

@Alex_G I can't really find any manuals for that advanced settings section, but doesn't matter much. Once you select the customized mode for Microsoft Security level. Save the setting and restart into the BIOS again, disable the SVM support and SVM lock. Try to restart again if it saves these settings.

@BigTigerM Might be a bad connection from the SATA cable. Below is the video for disassembling the laptop. Try to reseat the SATA cable.
