Padgett, what does your last sentence mean ("it does make a nice test stand controller/recorder")?

Try: Control Panel, Troubleshooting, Configure a device There's another thread on this.

Just to say it happens to me too. Sounds like some Acer engineers should look at updates to address this issue.
-
I searched mouse settings but couldn't see that option. Do you have ny instructions? Thanks

Just before I had resolved to refresh the tablet the problem went away! I have been trying to solve the problem with various driver re-installs and running troubleshooting under the Control Panel but nothing seemed to work. I'm afraid I can't share with you how the problem came or went away but I'm very happy everything's…

Yes, charged. As I said, everything works except one button - need to turn the keyboard off/on for the button to resume working.

I did this and the system crashed for some reason...not normal. After using trouble shooting it restored my usb, bluetooth and keyboard. Now everything back to normal, except for the original problem of the left mouse button!

Many thanks for trying to understand the problem. I'm pretty sure it's a software problem as the button works after turning the keyboard off and on. The connection is not bluetooth but a proprietary wireless (keyboard remains connected when you turn bluetooth on or off). There is a hardware button on the keyboard to turn…

Sorry, that's the only way I know. Good luck with finding the setting.

Onthe switch 12 you can us programcalled acer quick access...you may have the same program?

I've seen that it's apparently very easy to open the cae and upgrade the ssd for example. No screws, just insert a fingernail in the seam and gently pry open. The case snaps open and will click closed too. Need to ensure no microsd card and also two cables running from the display to the base near the hinges. Very easy,…

Mine is similar to yours in your picture, though I never noticed it before. I'm no engineer but the screen/case seems to have more structural strength at the top near the webcam than at the bottom near the Acer logo and this may be causing the curve. By the way, if you or anyone else has successfully opened the case (eg to…

Thanks. Do you know if the pc has an ambient light sensor or does it use the webcam? So I guess it use power to monitor ambient light conditions, hence, reduce overall battery life?
-
Can you please explain how LumiFlex works? Why don't I notice any difference [except for the increased battery life indicated by windows]? Thanks
-
It seems the driver update worked, no problems since.

I agree. I'm surprised at the lack of appreciation given the innovation and price. Notebookcheck ran a good review, otherwise, it seems like it's not gone down well. Sorry to hijack your thread, but has anyone opened the case to see which components are upgradeable (like the wireless network adapter)? If you have opened…

All power to maximum...In wifi advanced settings and battery settings. The other laptops don't need to run on maximum and have power saving enabled.

I checked the channels and there is a lot of interference as I'm in an apartment. The issue is that all my other devices (Android phones, samsung and dell notebooks) connect without dropping but this Switch 12 (and Acer W700) can't cope. Hence the idea to buy a new 30 dollar wna mini pci like the Intel 7260.
