Hi,

As the title says several devices not working.

Keyboard is fully charged.

Devices not showing up in System Devices.

I've managed to solve it using the find new hardware trouble shooting but wanted to know if this is a regular thing and are there anyways to avoid it happening again?

Does it happen often or was it a one time event?

    Hi,

    Thanks for replying.

It's only happened once since I got my Switch in Febuary.

Just one of those things maybe?

I suppose I'm wondering if it is something I have done that has caused it.

same here, my acer switch 12 also wont detect  the keyboard

then after some time it's back to normal, and after some time again it's not detected

is there any way to solve this problem?

Just to say it happens to me too.

Sounds like some Acer engineers should look at updates to address this issue.

I can think of a few things that might cause symptoms like this, but not good ways of testing... It could be anything from hardware issues to power saving issues.

Agree. I'd try turning all power saving and "may be controlled by..." off & set power to "performance". Then see if it is different.

The Switch 12 seems to be something Acer may soon claim never was and some of the design was not well thought out. That said mine has worked fine since day 1 and others than the slow USB 3.0 has given no problems at all. I did buy a cushioned slip cover to protect the display.

It does make a nice test stand controller/recorder.

    Thanks for all the replies.

It's been fine since I re-detected Hardware so hopfully it was just one of those things.

Unfotunatly it looks like this may be an issue for a few people.

I'll keep an eye on it and if I can identify which of the possible causes people have posted then I'll let you know.

Padgett, what does your last sentence mean ("it does make a nice test stand controller/recorder")?
