Disable POST animation & sound on the Acer Predator 17X

How can I turn off the animation and sound my Predator 17X makes when I turn it on?

The Predator 17X has a feature allowing it to display an animation with sound when you first boot up the system. You can turn this feature off in the system BIOS/UEFI using the steps below.

Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds or until the system completely shuts off.
Power on the system and press the F2 key as soon as the Predator logo screen appears .
Press the right arrow key to highlight the Main menu.
Use the down arrow to highlight the option for POST Animation & Sound and press Enter.
Select Disabled and press Enter.
Press F10 and select Yes to save the changes and exit the BIOS.
