Why am I limited to 30 FPS when using my Acer Predator G9-591 or G9-791 notebook on battery power?
Acer Predator notebooks have a BatteryBoost feature to help maximize battery life when the system is running on battery power. This feature is enabled by default and will limit the maximum frame rate while on battery. The default setting is 30 frames per second but may be adjusted. Use the following steps to adjust BatteryBoost settings or to disable this feature.
- Click the icon labeled GeForce Experience to launch the NVIDIA GeForce Experience software.
- Click the Preferences tab.
- Click Battery Boost.
- Move the slider bar to adjust the setting for "Longer battery life", or uncheck the box labeled BatteryBoost to disable this feature.
