How to Remove a Chromebook User Account

You can remove unwanted or unused accounts from your Chromebook. This method will allow you to remove any account from your Chromebook except for the owner account. Removing accounts will not delete the Google Account associated with it, it will only remove the account from the Chromebook. If an account is accidentally removed, select Add Person and sign into the Google Account again. Use the instructions below to remove a user account.

Select the Time in the bottom right corner, then click on Sign out.
Click on the arrow to the right of the account you want to remove, then select Remove account.

Note: To remove the owner account, you will need to powerwash or factory reset your Chromebook.
