What is an auto clicker for Chromebook?
Auto clicker for Chromebook is an accessibility feature that automatically clicks after the cursor stops moving so you do not have to manually press the trackpad or mouse.
How to enable auto clicker for Chrome OS
- Click on the time in the bottom right of your screen and select Settings⚙.
- Navigate to Advanced settings and select Accessibility > Manage Accessibility Settings.
- Under Mouse and Touchpad, find and turn on Automatically click when the cursor stops moving. You will now see a ring around your cursor.
- Choose your preferred automatic click settings:
- Delay before click: How long the system pauses before the cursor automatically clicks.
- Stabilize click location: Keep the ring in one spot until your cursor moves out of the area.
- Revert to left click after action: Return to left click automatically after different types of clicks.
- Movement threshold: To click automatically your cursor will have to move the amount you choose here.
- When you point to something on your screen, it will automatically click after the amount of time you set in the previous step.
How to use different types of clicking
After enabling automatic clicking in your Chromebook settings, you can modify the actions it takes.
- From the pop up menu at the bottom right of your screen, select the type of click you want to use:
- Left click
- Right click
- Double click
- Click and drag
- Scroll (around the screen)
- Toggle menu position
- Select Pause ॥ to stop automatic clicking.
- Move your cursor to the point where you want the action and it will automatically click.
