How do I setup my monitor to display 144Hz?
You can configure the Acer EI491CR monitor to display up to 144Hz using the Display Port connection. You can see a list of supported resolutions and refresh rate for each port below.
DP (1.2): 3840x1080 supports 120Hz (Supports overclocking up to 144Hz, but there is no guarantee for normal operation under Overclocking and
FreeSync "Extreme" mode).
HDMI (2.0): 3840x1080, supports up to 120Hz.
HDMI (1.4): 3840x1080, supports up to 60Hz.
Enable 144Hz:
- Press the Menu button on the monitor. The menu button is labeled with the number 4 in the image below.
- Use the down arrow on the remote to highlight System and press OK.
- Use the down arrow on the remote to highlight DFHD-144Hz Mode and change the mode to ON
Note: Overclocking (144Hz-Mode) may result in flickering or other adverse effects in some scene modes. It may be possible to resolve or reduce flickering effects by setting a lower refresh rate. When Overclocking is enabled, Over Drive will be automatically set to Off.
