Can I change the email address for my Acer ID if I get a new email address?
You can change the email address associated with your Acer ID account at any time by following the steps below. Once you update your email address in the system, you will need to confirm the update via email for your security.
1) How to change the email address associated with your Acer ID
- Visit http://account.acer.com.
- Sign in using your old Acer ID email address.
- Click on your name in the top right corner.
- Click on the pencil icon next to your email address to edit.
- Enter your new email address, check the "I’m not a robot" checkbox and click on the Save button. An email with a verification code will be sent to your new email address.
- Enter the verification code from the email in the Verify your email window.
- Click on the Submit button. Your email address is now changed.
Note: You will need to activate within 5 minutes to confirm the change.
2) What to do if you did not receive a verification code
- Check your spam folder. Check to see if the verification email ended up in there.
- If you received the verification code, proceed with steps 6 and 7.
- If you did not receive the verification code, proceed with the step below.
- Request the verification code again. Click on Resend code at the bottom of the Verify your email window. The email with the verification code is resent to your new email address.
- If you received the verification code, proceed with steps 6 and 7.
- If you did not receive the verification code, please contact Acer Support.
3) How to delete your Acer ID
You can request your Acer ID to be deleted at any time. If you want your Acer ID deleted, please refer to How to delete your Acer ID account.
