Hi everyone I'm hoping someone could answer this for me. Is there a certification to become an Acer certified technician? Anything similar to being Apple or Dell certified? I ask because I'd like to see if there's a way to work on Acer products without voiding the warranties. Thanks in advanced.

    Hello,

We recently bought 300 Acer c720p chromebooks for the school I work for. As the districts Technical Support Specialist, is there a there a certification to become an Acer certified technician? We are having chromebooks become damaged. And not to void warranty, we have been shipping them back. However, this is becoming aproximately 2-3 week turnaround. (Shipping, emails, etc. etc.). Is the certificate similar to Dell?

    Any help is appreiciated.

    Thanks.

I see that you have sent a private message to all of the people inquiring about being certifed technicians.  I am in the same boat as them.  I have several school districts using chromebooks and want them repaired quickly.  Can you point me in the right direction?  Thank you in advance

I would like more info on this topic as well. I am a tech in a district with about 300 chromebooks and planning on adding about 1200 in the next 2-3 years.

Acer does not have a specific program to become an Acer Certified Technician. If you are interested in premier support or self-maintainer programs, you would need to contact the Acer sales team in your region.

Our school district has been going with Acer Chromebooks for around 3-4 years now. All of the ones purchased this year are still under warranty, but sending them in to be repaired sometimes takes quite a bit of turn around time.  We are wanting to do the repairs in house. What does it take to become Acer certified to repair these units?

I hope you can help, we are about to receive a batch of Acer notebooks in stock to provide to our customers after having a hard time with Lenovo due to reliability etc.

I was wondering how we could go about getting Acer certified so that we could repair those devices without voiding any warranties.

    Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.
