I'm sorry that you're having issues. Sounds like you need to contact your local Acer service center for assistance.

Yes, it would restore the system to the default factory settings, wiping any data or additional programs. If you've had the issues since day one, out of the box, it may be a hardware issue. In that instance, you should contact your local Acer service center to have it repaired. It's easier to try the software route first,…

Facial recognition was removed for performance issues. We have asked them to be sure that any marketing literature is likewise cleaned up to remove mention of facial recognition.

Have you attempted to do a factory recovery?

Unfortunately, while I can see that the system did ship with Windows 8, it has not assisted with determining why Bluetooth would be unavailable on your system. It ships with the appropriate card ( should be a combo WiFi and BT card ). Are you seeing anything in Device Manager related to Bluetooth?

The pieces of the neck "snap" together. There's no way for me to describe it any better than that. It may be that you would do better with a monitor that has a single piece neck assembly.

You may wish to look at the drivers page and ensure that you have updated to the latest version of wireless driver that we have available.

It very much sounds like you upgraded to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8. In that case you will want to upgrade all of the drivers that are listed on our drivers page. We recommend using them over any Microsoft installed drivers with Windows 8.1.

If the system is not proceeding through POST and you are unable to get into the BIOS, you should probably call your local Acer service center for assistance.

Restoring to factory original settings will take the system back to day one from the factory. It will restore the system to how it originally shipped, without any data, customizations or changes that you may have effected or added to the system. Software is the easiest change to make to a system and is the line we pursue…

If the system shipped with UEFI and Windows 8, then yes, you will need to turn Secure Boot OFF in order to boot from USB or optical media.

A BIOS update will not fix the issue that you describe, as it is not a BIOS issue. It sounds to me like your system battery (RTC) is failing. Please contact service for assistance.

This is a matter that needs to be done through the service center. It is not something that can be handled on the Community.

Please review this article: Installing a different Operating System We have no way of knowing what you installed or what issues it may introduce. We are only able to support what we are shipping on a particular system. It sounds like a configuration issue, but I would only be able to recommend that you restore the system…

That is a message for which I'm unable to find any documentation. Are you certain that it is the projector that is producing the message? We would suggest contacting technical support in your region for further assistance with this issue. Acer Service and Support

You will need to provide some additional information about what is occuring with the system. What operating system are you using? What device are you attempting to connect? Where are you seeing the message you report? Did you check the devices in Device Manager?

We shipped the AO725 series with either Windows 7 or with Windows 8. Your best bet would be to use recovery media to return the system to it's original factory load. I'm going to guess that in this case it is Windows 7. Then you can just upgrade from Windows 7. Please review these articles: Installing a different Operating…
