Step 4 is a leftover tip from the days where not every integrated GPU was powerful enough to handle Windows Aero and this led to a visual slowdown of the desktop. With today's performance, the only thing you're doing by disabling visual effects is disabling the eye-candy with no noticeable effect on performance because…

I think your internal SSD came loose. You can verify by checking whether it is being detected in the BIOS (check the Bootable devices section).

Try going to BIOS changing the option back to UEFI. Your Windows disk was created in UEFI mode and will not work with Legacy BIOS.

The low volume issue is a design problem. The speakers are low power and the placement doesn't allow for a good volume either. You can check one option in the Sound settings (Control Panel). Go to Speakers and check the Custom tab to see if Limited Output is enabled or not. If enabled, disable it and your maximum volume…

You can't get BIOS on the external display because it is programmed to be displayed in your primary monitor which is your laptop display. The only way I think that you can get it to display onto your external monitor was if you disconnected your internal display, and I wouldn't recommend you go through so much trouble just…

Sorry for not wording my post correctly. When I say "docked" I mean using the laptop with an external monitor like a PC. I'm not actually using a "dock". All my peripherals including the external hard disk is directly connected to my laptop, i.e. no docks or hubs are being used. I've even tried connecting the external…

Check your Task Manager to see what is taking up CPU during idle. This is probably the culprit for the poor performance.dans Experiencing Frame Drop in every game! AN515-52-79J4, Commentaire de KaushikMajumdar avril 2021

This is actually the most elegant workaround. I like to use Quick Access to turn-off USB charging and disabling it's startup task would interfere with the program. Also deleting/modifying the image file is actually something which works without error. I was thinking of going into the registry before but had no idea where…dans Disable Caps-lock notification on screen aspire F5-573G Commentaire de KaushikMajumdar septembre 2020

I think you need the Realtek Audio Console for the popup to appear. This is a problem since the app is not available to download on the Microsoft Store. Try the latest version of the Realtek driver from the Acer website or try to update the Realtek Audio driver using Device Manager and restart.
