Hi all. I've got the classic problem of not getting a popup to choose an audio device when plugging into the audio port. I've looked through loads of forums and can't get it fixed. I've downloaded the older version of HD Realtek Audio Manager as is commonly suggested. The little black circle I need to click to get the selection up is greyed out. Can't find another solution. Any ideas? I've got Windows 10 and an Acer Aspire A515-52. This problem is soooo annoying. Thanks in advance

What i meant was, there's no folder icon to select in the top right corner of the audio manager, see below

which then allows you to select the input device...

I think you need the Realtek Audio Console for the popup to appear. This is a problem since the app is not available to download on the Microsoft Store. Try the latest version of the Realtek driver from the Acer website or try to update the Realtek Audio driver using Device Manager and restart.
