Hi. Then i'm gonna buy the WD SN570. Thanks!
-
Hi and thanks for your answers and explanations. Maybe a WD SN570 (pcie 3.0), that operates at 3500mbs (read) and 2400mbs (write) will be better, right? Or maybe the cheaper Kingston NV2 (pcie 4.0, 3500mbs/2000mb/s)? Thanks again.

Hi. Will it run at full speeds (7000mb/s read and 3900mb/s write)? Thanks!!
-
I already updated to 1.21 BIOS version when it came out. I think i will have to wait. Thanks again!
-
Hi, thanks for your answer. There is no BIOS update since July 2020. The question is if there's going to be a new release soon? Thanks!

Hi again! Solved!!! Installing the latest Intel Bluetooth (BT_21.90.2_64_Win10) driver from Intel website solved the issue! Thank you for all your help!
-
Hi! I found the problem. It's the bluetooth driver. Don't know why because it's the latest driver from Acer.

What if install windows again but in ahci mode? Because the last time i installed i had sata (optane) mode on. Thanks!!!
-
Hi. I changed sata mode to ahci. in fact, i followed the steps one by one with no luck. The thing is if i'm on safe mode, the issue didn't occur, it is like some driver, program, or something that is not loaded in safe mode, is loaded in normal mormal mode and it's causing the delay after restarting or shutting down the…

I tried uninstalling some program that i think could be problematic, and i disabled some drivers with no luck...

Hi, sata to ahci isn't available on bios. it happened after upgraded to version 2004, i rollback to 1909 but the issue persists, the i did a clean install of version 2004 and it still happening. In safe boot the issue isn't happening. Maybe some driver or program?
-
Hi. Yes, same problem.
-
Hi, and thanks for your answer. I tried the battery reset and i am still having the issue. I tried disabling fast startup too (both windows and bios). I realized that the waiting time happened if i restart or i shut down the computer, but it happens after windows restart/shutdown and not before the bios post. In another…

Hi, how are you? 1. A friend of mine bought the laptop for me from X-Kom, in Poland. The RAM is from poland too. It's Wilk Elektronik, DDR4 2400MHz. They replace the 8GB stick for the 16GB one. 2. Single channel is one channel of memory, because my Acer only has one slot available and i can't do dual channel (two channels…

Hi, i have the A515-54G (same model but with the MX250) and i ordered with 16GB single channel RAM, because it only has one slot and no RAM is soldered. The laptop had 8GB by factory but they removed the 8GB and add a 16GB stick. If you have the same motherboard, you can remove the 8GB and buy 16. Hope it helps. P.S.:…

I tried both with no luck. Fan in BIOS version 1.16 wasn't on, but now in 1.17 it's on for about 2 minutes. And the option to keep the keyboard always on disappeared after version 1.12 Maybe with a new BIOS the fan thing and the keyboard backlit option maybe will be back. Thanks!

Here's how i did it: You can follow the instructions given in this site: https://www.win-raid.com/t596f39-Intel-Management-Engine-Drivers-Firmware-amp-System-Tools.html It's a little bit complicated, but not impossible.

Hi! After hours of searching, I finally did it! I found how to update the firmware at this site: win-raid. I updated the CSME to 14.0.31.1120 and now my system isn't vulnerable anymore! Thanks!

Hi, Acer-Manny. I have the same issue but with an Aspire A515-54G. I have version 14.0.0.1061 of the Intel Converged Security and ME. I recently updated the BIOS to version 1.17 but i still have a vulnerable system. How can i update my CSME? Can you tell me? Thanks in advance!
