Got it :)
-
Good for you
-
did you find a solution? I'm having the same problem but can't send it for repairs atm
-
Oh...got it.
-
I did it. Seems fine now.
-
Oh I did not know about the difference in gap. Just assumed they are all alike. Thanks for pointing it out to me. I'll use more paste.
-
Thanks again but you did not notice that I mentioned I did it before too. I read all the guides and know the theory. Also watched plenty of videos but none of them follow a standard procedure when it comes to amount and spreading method. I know it's difficult to tell from reading like this but I hope I wrote it clearly…

Thanks for the quick reply, but could you be a little more specific? Are you saying I should use more paste? And that this is what is causing the freezes?
-
Normally, it's not supposed to go down in the first place. Maybe something's wrong with your battery or charger.

What did you use before this to see fps? And how much did you use to get in minecraft? If you're new to Java edition, then you should know that it's poorly optimised, compared to the windows store version. Not that I've tried Java but I have seen others run it on similar specs and it causes frame drops more often.

It's fine to play while plugged in. The recommended method is to fully charge it and then play while leaving the charger inside.
-
You mean it won't turn on even when plugged in?

I am aware of the 100% disk usage slowing things down, but this is the first time I am hearing about it only affecting normal operations while letting games run fine. Let's see what others have to say on this. Just keep in mind that you should have a valid warranty for one year unless you attempt repairs or maintenance on…

Yes. It's only a spike. Can happen even when you think the computer is idle. Besides, a full scan can be fairly resource intensive. It mainly hogs the hard drive but also has varying levels of CPU usage as well.

@Saikrishna, put the details in your own thread that you already made instead of here. It's not helpful to anyone if you start another discussion inside this one.

yes, the way the laptop's body is designed, one side gets hotter than the other. If it's bothering you, then get a cheap external keyboard. That should also prevent you from hammering the laptop keys when getting caught up in the excitement of a game.
-
This is normal for a laptop like yours. Nothing to worry about. 80C on games is actually quite good. Most of us go into the 90C range.
-
hmm that's something I hadn't thought of. Welp...learned something new
-
Oh I see. Glad it's all running fine now. :)

The wrong GPU is running while charging. Go to control panel(for nvidia or amd whichever you have) and select preferred graphics processor. Set it to your dedicated GPU. The computer should select the integrated GPU while on battery but in your case it seems that it prefers to go along with the other one. Nothing wrong…
