Ho, and I started by checking in Device Manager... Also checked if cables were all ok inside the cases. Re-enabling, Re-installing from Acer, checking updates etc. Actually I finally reformated the drive and reinstalled completely without any change to the problem!

If that could be of any help, I recently had to open my Spin 5 for other reasons, but the Stylus wasn't working either after I closed it back. The problem was that the pins that connects the pen were just a little bent so it could not recharge and died.
