Acer Spin 5 stylus not working after LCD screen was replaced

I had my Spin 5's LCD screen replaced by our local service center. However, upon checking the unit at home, I noticed that the built-in stylus of the Spin 5 is not working at all (not for scrolling, clicking, it's good for nothing now). Does anybody know how to fix this? I am trying to find a solution I can do at home first so that I can avoid the service centers during this pandemic. Also, Acer took 2 months just to replace the LCD. I'm nervous about bringing the unit back to the service center and waiting two more months for the stylus.

    Hi @paprikka,

Loss of touch sensitivity or total absence of touchscreen function after a repair is usually caused by a damaged flex cable. There are three major parts in a screen assembly — the LCD, digitizer, and flex cable.

I would suggest you to report this issue to your local Acer support. They can check the part number of the LCD and verify if its the right one for the unit. If not they may be able to help you by replacing with correct one..

    Hi @ paprikka
Did you try to reinstall the drivers or reset on the unit.
Did you try with other stylus?

If that could be of any help, I recently had to open my Spin 5 for other reasons, but the Stylus wasn't working either after I closed it back.
The problem was that the pins that connects the pen were just a little bent so it could not recharge and died.
