This update should include previous version fixes or updates, you wont have to install previous versions, it may not let you even if you did download the previous versions and tried to downgrade it, although there are other methods available if you wish to downgrade your bios (not recommended)

Hi try to load into safe mode, this will load minimum basic drivers and then report back on how the laptop performs, but as others have suggested delete tge anti virus and see how it responds. 

Hello, just wanted to update I have now installed the Samsung 970 EVO 250gb 3.0x4 PCIe NVMe, it is all running OK with Windows freshly installed. Can also confirm it seems to be running x4 lanes, used the samsung magician software and it cobfirms the 3400/1500 read and wire speeds. ASSD crystal mark seems to read at 2600…

According to this document it should have gen 3.0x4 

Just a bit confused with laptops running @x2 lanes when ssd can run @x4 lanes. That's why.

Also, if you could look at this please, my model is AN515-52-76SH but the specs are accurate and I believe it does state x4, is this correct and still applicable?

They are all SATA speed, I was looking for the PCIE 3.0x4 if possible. 

Does it not state the data it transfers? 

OK, I'm planning on getting a pcie 2280 m2 Samsung 960 EVO? Will that be OK?

I wanted to ask on this document it shows for my model and spec as the pcie 3.0 x4 lanes but when I checked using hwinfo it was just showing x1 lane, I'm a bit confused with this.
