Hello,
Just purchased my Nitro 5 a couple of days ago so far so good.

I wanted to know if my an515-52 can support SSD pcie (3.0x4) m2. nvme?

I'am thinking of installing a Toshiba 512gb Pcie 3.0x4 Nvme m2. type 2280.

My xpu and gpu specs are as follows

I7 8750h 8th gen
1050 Gtx 4GB

So is the above compatible with the AN515-52-76SH?
And will this run on the 4 lanes or 2 lanes?

Is their any truth behind this from this users post do you think?

'' make sure you set AHCI and not RST + Optane. Do that and you will get full speed out of an NVME

by default it is set to RST + Optane and optahe only utilises 2 lanes instead of 4 lanes
and some nitro 5 ships with optane and thats why it is slow , just change it to ACHI and it will be fixed

feel free to ask any questions''

Its in the thread you posted the link too

    Not sure. Never tried it.
But i would suggest if know how to do it with the above step you can try, but am not sure whether that might mess your unit if something goes wrong.

I wanted to ask on this document it shows for my model and spec as the pcie 3.0 x4 lanes but when I checked using hwinfo it was just showing x1 lane, I'm a bit confused with this.

This is a screen shot of my hardware, will it still run on x2 lanes still although it is showing 1x?
