  • So to put this issue to bed my laptop had maintenance done on it. I had to open up my laptop and recheck ribbon cables to everything. It turned out that the ribbon cable that went to my power button had a bad connection so I connected it properly and wala it sleeps properly again.
  • Plus i have also checked your system specs and i can see you have 4 usb ports. Two of the ports are usb 3.0 and one which is usb 3.1 and the last one is usb 2.0 so you only have 1 usb port that is usb 2.0! Im now pretty sure this is your issue pls post back any other issues but i am positive this is your answer.

  • Try turning the machine off completley and remove battery. press and hold power button on machine for 30 secs then plug the AC in and power on the machine to see if that helps. If no good and i can see that u have tested to see if an external screen works then the lcd has failed.
  • Ok I have fixed my own problem. I had to strip down my laptop to just the mainboard. Then turned the oven on and baked my mainboard. put my laptop back together and now she works again! Its a risky thing to do but it solved my issue. it were the GPU that were at fault as there must have been a problem with the solder.
