Hey all,

 

My laptop today will not come on.... it was asleep but when i went back to it, it was running but no screen. i pressed every key to wake the screen but nothing? so i powered it down completly and started it back up but still no screen. the fan stops also? any clews as to what the problem maybe?

    Ok I have fixed my own problem.

     

    I had to strip down my laptop to just the mainboard. Then turned the oven on and baked my mainboard. put my laptop back together and now she works again!

     

    Its a risky thing to do but it solved my issue. it were the GPU that were at fault as there must have been a problem with the solder.

    Did you try battery reset? Unplug, look for pinhole underneath,press with paper clip and give it a few mins. Plug back in, wait few more mins and power up. Be first thing to try

    Has no button under the battery so I tried 30 seconds on the power button with battery removed. Plugged AC power in without battery plugged in to turn on and still same thing?
