How do I video chat on my Acer computer?

On Acer computers equipped with a web camera, you have the ability to video chat when the camera is used in conjunction with internet messaging or video calling software. Depending on the model, your computer may or may not have come with this type of software preinstalled. If your computer did not come with this type of software, there are several third party applications available to perform this function. Some examples would be:

Also, some websites such as Facebook and YouTube have the ability to access your computer’s web camera to allow you to video chat or record video. You will have to grant these websites special permissions to do so.
