Windows 10: Display brightness issues after the Windows 10 upgrade

How do I fix display brightness issues after upgrading to Windows 10?

The Windows 10 upgrade may cause your screen brightness to change automatically when your system restarts. Your display brightness controls may also be reversed. This means your display brightness may decrease when you press key combination (FN + right arrow). Use the steps below to download and install a BIOS update to resolve this issue.

Press Fn + left arrow to increase the brightness.
Visit the Drivers and Manuals section of the Acer support website to download and install the latest BIOS version for your product.
All brightness features will function normally after this update is installed.
