Activating Windows by phone

How do I activate Windows by phone?

The Windows software we ship on our computers automatically activates when you first setup your computer. If your copy of Windows says "Windows is not activated," Use the following steps to activate the software:

Click Start , then select Settings.
Click Update & security, then select Activation.

If your activation state says Connect to the Internet to activate Windows, it might mean you're not connected to the Internet or the activation servers are busy. If you are connected to the Internet, Windows 10 will be automatically activated.
If your activation state says Windows is not activated, select Go to Store, and check to see if a valid license for Windows is available for your device.

Note: If you have installed your own copy of Windows software, you will need to use the product key that came with that software. Retail versions of Windows will not activate with any product key information listed on your Acer product.
