Some Acer laptops, like the Aspire Lite models, do not include a print screen button on the keyboard. You can still capture screenshots easily using the Snipping Tool. This guide will walk you through the steps to take a screenshot of a part of your screen or the entire screen.
How to use the Snipping Tool to take a screenshot
- Prepare Your Screen: Before taking a screenshot, make sure the screen displays exactly what you want to capture.
- Open the Snipping Tool: You can type snipping tool in the Windows search box, or press the keyboard keys Windows ⊞ + Shift + S at the same time. This will dim your screen and open the Snipping Tool's selection mode.
- Select the Screenshot Type: You can choose from different snip types: rectangular snip, free-form snip, window snip, or full-screen snip. Click and drag your cursor to select the area you want to capture.
- Save Your Screenshot: After capturing the screenshot, it will be copied to your clipboard. Open an image editing tool (like Paint), paste the screenshot using Ctrl + V, and save the file.
