How do I get rid of the low battery warning on my Acer eKinekt Bike Desk?
While pedaling on your Acer eKinekt Bike Desk, you may encounter a low battery warning on the display, see the image below, and it might seem like the battery is not charging. The eKinekt displays the low battery warning when the battery level falls below one bar.
Your Acer eKinekt Bike Desk comes with a battery pack to meet its basic power requirements, for instance, to establish a Bluetooth connection with your smartphone. It also provides pedal-generated power to the Type A & Type C ports, so you can charge electronic devices. But when the pedal-generated power is not enough for charging, your eKinekt Bike Desk will use battery power for charging instead. This can lead to the battery level dropping below one bar, which will trigger the low battery warning.
How to make the low battery warning disappear
To get your Acer eKinekt Bike Desk to use the pedal-generated power for charging again and make the low battery warning disappear, you need to keep pedaling to generate power until the battery level reaches one bar. This can take anywhere from 1 minute up to 90 minutes.
Note: It may appear that the battery is not charging when you are pedaling, when in fact it is charging.
Once the one bar is exceeded by pedaling, the low battery warning disappears and the information display returns to normal.
