How can I tell if my Caps Lock, Num Lock or Scroll Lock are on?
Some Acer models do not have a visual indicator that lets you know when you have your Caps, Number or Scroll Locks enabled. You can enable Toggle Keys to play a sound when you press the Caps Lock, Num Lock, or Scroll Lock keys. A higher pitch tone will indicate when the lock for that key is on, and a lower pitch tone will indicate when the feature is off. This can be useful for individuals with visual impairments or difficulty in recognizing when these keys are activated. Use the steps below to enable Toggle Keys in Windows 11.
- Click on Start ⊞ and select Settings ⚙.
- Click on Accessibility.
- Scroll down and click on Keyboard.
- Click on the Toggle Keys switch to move it to the On position to enable it.
