Your computer may type numbers instead of letters if the number lock is enabled on your notebook that does not have a 10 key number pad. On most computers, you can disable the number lock using the NumLock key or a combination of FN and one of the function keys F1-F12. If your computer does not have a NumLock key like the Predator PT515-52s, you can use the on-screen keyboard in Windows 11 to enable or disable the number lock.
- Press the Ctrl + Windows Key ⊞ + O keys at the same time to open the on-screen keyboard.
- Click on Options.
- Click to check or uncheck the box next to Turn on numeric key pad to enable or disable the numlock.
Note: You can connect an external keyboard and use its numlock key to control the NumLock if you are unable to access the onscreen keyboard.
