Windows 11 allows you to easily monitor the amount of time your computer screen is on, off or in sleep mode. This can be useful in figuring out battery usage details and for keeping track of how long you are actually using your computer.
How to check battery usage and screen time
- Click on Start ⊞ and select Settings ⚙, or use Windows + I to quickly open Settings.
- Click on Power and Battery, locate the Battery Saver controls, and select Battery Usage. You can now see your computer's:
- Battery Usage. To see battery percentage during a given hour, just mouse over individual bars on the chart.
- Screen On time.
- Screen Off time.
- Sleep time.
- overview of the Last 7 Days.
Note: The golden leaf icon represents power saving mode, and the plug icon shows when the charger was connected to the system.
