What is Delta E and Delta E <2 color accuracy?

Delta E is used to ensure the color being displayed closely matches what the human eye receives. It is also the difference between two colors designated as two points in the CIELAB color space. The higher the Delta E value, the lower color accuracy.
Delta E
A measurement of the color accuracy level of an LCD. Delta E is a calculation metric which correlates the human visual judgment of differences between two perceived colors. The lower the Delta E number, the more accurate the color.
Delta E <2
The display has been tested and calibrated to achieve a low Delta E average of <2 to reproduce true-to-life color accuracy.
