its been a week that I'm facing a problem with my predator sense after I replaced my laptop stock thermal paste with an artic mx4 2019 thermal paste, The predator sense is acting weirdly most of the time. when I open my computer in the morning the app shows me the CPU temp around 90 for a few seconds and turn back to normal and also when I try to install a small software then again without no reason temp rise up to 91 and fans are running so fast to cool down. I checked my system panels and CPU and GPU area for heat but there is no heat. so today I uninstalled my predator sense and downloaded a new version from Acer support but now confused with all those files and I don't know how to install the app!. So can somebody help me with this?
And I'm also facing an overheating problem while gaming so I tried to undervolt my CPU with throttlestop and its working now and reducing the temp while gaming, but now sacred that does undervolting the CPU cause any damage to my CPU?

My Laptop is a predator helios 300 2019 edition
Model: PH315-52
CPU: Intel i7 9750H
GPU: GTX 1660 Ti

bro your laptop sould be factory undervolt as far as i know don''t need to undervolt. and try installing predator sense again if that helps

well, the factory undervolt is not effective bro that's why i referred youtube to undervolted manually

Instead of predator sense try monitoring the temps using hwmonitor or similar software. If ur temps are still high then probably u did a bad repaste and u might have to do it again. Undervolting cant damage ur cpu in any way, maximum it can do is cause some stability issues causing ur laptop to shutdown.

well my laptop is not shutting down while using so i think the undervolting is working without any problem, and about the thermal paste i will try to re paste it.

bro i would suggest you to  try do some benchmark test with you new undervolt and without it if there is any performance improve. and try to compare temp also

After reading your issue, I've come to several potential fixes:
    1. You did the thermal paste wrong and it ended up having terrible contact.
    2. You screwed the screws too loosely.
    3. You got a defective thermal paste or one that was not in its top condition.
    4. [OPTIONAL] This is not the primary cause of this issue, but considering how powerful your CPU and GPU are, I highly suggest you buy something better than Arctic MX4. Try Kryonaut. Although it may seem a bit pricy, but you're only pasting it about once every 6 months. It's not a huge burden on your wallet, but it keeps your laptop cool and able to perform at top performance.

ajay_casi Can I ask you please, what the temperature was before changing the thermal paste to MX4?
If the original MX4 is a very good thermal paste, everything you get is comparable to top-end thermal greases. apart from liquid metal, it's only 3-4 degrees of difference

The GPU and other components are really cooling down after change the thermal paste to mx-4 but for the CPU I think I repasted incorrectly, so I gonna re-paste it again.

Well bro, i think you might be right about re-pasting the thermal paste, I gonna do it again

oh ok nice bro i though you are just trying it on your own. if this is tested then you are good to go and also i was curios if you have replaced the thermal pad too i mean that pink thermal paste comes on vram of gpu. also Noctua Nt H1 is good as thermal paste if you are from india you can buy it from https://www.primeabgb.com if there is something wrong with your mx4 thermal paste

which thermal pad should use on the vram? I mean the thickness? and what about other components pads thickness?

ajay_casi optimise your windows properly and undervolt it further with TS check here  also check your temps with msi ab or hwinfo/hwmonitor  its more accurate if you still have high temps over 85'ish cpu and 70/75 dgpu max repaste it again properly you have a bad repaste use the spread method and too much paste its bad also the best thermal paste you can get its kryonaut and dont use thermal pads where you have pink paste use either normal thermal paste or buy a thicker one like the k5 pro those vram chipsets do not have thermal pads for a reason adding them will create bad thermal transfer between the cpu/gpu diodes and the heatsink also don t use liquid metal unless you know exactly what youre doing and isolate all components properly around both diodes and above all make the laptop stationary as it might leak and short circuit the mobo which will be fried not work the risk for 5 degrees its up to your anyways good luck

But I accidentally removed that pink melted pads from my lap and applied the same paste which used for CPU and GPU! What should I do now?

ajay_casi those arent melted pads its thermal paste for vram chips use the same thermal paste u use on the diodes its should be fine or get the one i mentioned above the issue is that on 2017/18 models there were thermal pads only acer changed to thermal paste on 2019/20 and ppl think its melted pads which its not they should leave it alone and save as much as there able so my advice to everyone do not try to repaste if you dunno exactly what youre gonna find and never remove whats on stock from the vram chipsets before start anything get more info its available everywhere

Well now I'm applied the artic mx 4 2019 which I used to re paste the both CPU and GPU! Give me the link of that thermal paste for vram and if there is any guide video or thread please includes that too.

    Thanks in advance
