So I have a ln Acer nitro 5 Ryzen 5 quad core AN 515-43-R3JU which I bought 4 days ago .
I downloaded Fortnite on my laptop and from the day I bought it the fps in game is falling to very low fps like 20 to 5 fps for 1 second and back to normal again . This is happening for every 30 seconds or so . Please help me as this is very depressing and annoying at the same time that this is happening to me on my new laptop . (The temperatures of both CPU and GPU are well around 65 to 70 degrees Celsius while gaming) . Any help is appreciated . Thank you .

@CrystalHexagon follow these steps
1)click on window icon then search cmd and open it as administrator
Now type both commands one by one
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
When above command complete now type this command↓
sfc /scannow
After completing restart your and follow below steps
Download DDU(display driver uninstaller) and download nvidia software from my link (just select your gpu details and download game ready driver don't forget to select gtx (notebook))
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
After downloading save both nvidia software and ddu program in download folder now, boot in safe mode then run DDU program→select GPU→clean and restart
After restart you will boot in normal mode
Now, install that nvidia software→after installation restart your laptop
Then add you game in nvidia software and set high performance nvidia processor→now you can play your gameswindows 10/11 optimization guide for gaming

@CrystalHexagonTry to fully remove all of the display adapter drivers - both integrated and also dedicated. use DDU, then install the most current nvidia software only for both of the display adapters.
After following my above steps, again add userbenchmark is new nvidia software→set high performance nvidia processor

btw what is ur gpu ? Mine is gtx 1660 and it got red ( 10.4% ) which is making me feel sad . Is there any hardware problem in my laptop ?0
-
The micro freezing thing is mostly happening when enemies are around and when during combat . The freezing never happens while in creative .0

@CrystalHexagon
No hardware problem.
1)10.4% score is vega 8 not nvidia gpu
2)your turbo boost not running
I know solution but first
open nvidia control panel then find and check version then tell mewindows 10/11 optimization guide for gaming
